awardsGrand Rapids, MI — Avalon Building Concepts, West Michigan’s most experienced home improvement company*, has earned the GAF’s most prestigious contractors award; The GAF 2017 President’s Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes Avalon Building Concepts as one of the “best of the best” certified roofing contractors in the United States. Avalon Building Concepts has won this award for the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 years.

GAF is North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, and only GAF Master Elite® Contractors can compete for its President’s Club Award. To qualify for this award, a contractor must demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in their business, especially in the areas of Installation Excellence, Consumer Protection Service, and Installer Training.

Avalon Building Concepts has been a GAF Master Elite® Contractor since 2012  – a status that less than 3% of roofing contractors nationwide have achieved – a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing and adequate insurance, have a proven reputation and show commitment to ongoing professional training.

Since 2000, Avalon Building Concepts has worked hard to build a reputation in the industry, “About 44% of the work we do is roofing,” according to Rick Mead, president. “Integrity is at the heart of our business, reflected in our communications and our workmanship. That is why the Golden Pledge warranty is extremely important to us –  it ensures our customers peace of mind on a job done right the first time due to the follow-up from GAF, with the post-installation roof inspection, and the security of having a 50 year warranty on the roof.”

Speaking about Avalon Building Concepts dedication to customers, Mead adds: “We have been a President’s Club Award winner for the past 3 years. A contractor does not get to this point by just going out and bidding on roofs. Our customers get complete explanations of what we do and how we do it.”

Going forward, Avalon Building Concepts looks to continue its record of success in West Michigan, “ We do home improvements throughout Michigan,” concludes Mead. “ We have had the same address and phone number for 18 years since we opened the business in 2000, and have recently expanded by opening another office in Lansing. Our goal is to surpass the level of customer satisfaction and continue to expand our ventures.”
